Shake off your problem and stand on it

Once there was a poor washerman. He had a donkey. He loved his donkey so much. It once happened that he was going somewhere with his donkey. On the way, accidentally, the donkey fell into a pit. The pit was very deep. The poor man made so many attempts to pull out the donkey but it was beyond his strength. There was no one to help him. The donkey was braying helplessly.

The poor man didn't want to let his beloved donkey die a tormented death with thirst and hunger biting dust. So he thought to bury the donkey alive in the same pit to make his death smoother.

The washerman began to pour soil on the donkey to fill the pit. Every time he threw soil on the donkey, the donkey shook his body and stepped on the soil. The man continued to bury him. After sometime, the level of the soil raised up and the donkey finally reached the ground. He brayed with delight and walked away to graze in the green fields.

Lesson:-
Never live with your problems. Just shake them off and step on them. Always have positive thoughts. If one door is closed, never mind. There are lots of doors waiting for you.

The elephant's rope

A gentleman once passing by elephants found that the giant elephants were tied by a small piece of rope. He was surprised to see that the elephants were not kept in cages or held by the use of chains.

Looking upon the huge elephants he was so astonished as to why they didn't use their strength to break the rope and get free. He was curious to know the answer. He went to one of the trainers and said, "It's amazing to see a huge elephant tied to just a small piece of rope and even the elephant doesn't try to break the rope. How is it possible?"

The trainer smiled and answered, "Actually when the elephants are younger and even smaller in size, we use to tie them with the same size rope. At that age it's enough to hold them. And as they grow up they are conditioned to believe they cannot break away. Believing that the rope can still hold them, they never try to break it and escape.
